ABOUT THE WORK
Ali Nikoo’s printmaking brings photographic memories into dialogue with moments of everyday life. Drawing on black-and-white imagery, he explores family history and a hidden sense of self through altered and recombined images. Demolition, unfinished buildings and surfaces of concrete, iron and asphalt reflect the city’s constant transformation. His prints connect personal memory with the changing spaces we inhabit.
