ABOUT THE WORK
This work is part of Nima Zaghian’s ongoing Monster series, in which the monster is understood not as an embodiment of evil, but as something that exists before oppositions such as good and evil, order and chaos, or meaning and non-meaning. The monster resists classification, utility and fixed interpretation, appearing instead through play, instability and what Zaghian describes as “non-language.” These ideas are further developed in his book The Logic of the Monster, a collection of short philosophical essays that forms the conceptual foundation of the series.
