ABOUT THE WORK
This work is part of Nava Sabetimani’s Kalanjar series, which explores a suspended state between presence and disappearance, construction and abandonment. Repeated faces, reclining bodies and multiplied hands create unstable relationships between the self and the other. Resemblance functions both as connection and as rupture, while the boundaries of individuality remain in constant flux. The work reflects on identity as something relational, fragile and never fully fixed.
