ABOUT THE WORK
This work reflects Zahra Rezadoost’s ongoing exploration of architectural space as a carrier of memory, absence and human presence. Working in monochrome, she transforms interiors, streets and building facades into quiet, atmospheric spaces shaped by light and shadow. People remain absent, yet traces of life appear through illuminated windows, subtle details and the emotional residue of inhabited places. Through layered charcoal and tonal variation, the work shifts architecture away from documentation and toward contemplation, inviting the viewer to project their own memories and experiences onto the scene.
