ABOUT THE WORK
This work explores the contradiction of human connection in the age of communication: physical closeness accompanied by emotional distance. Figures share the same spaces, yet remain isolated from one another, appearing like separate islands within the modern world. The work reflects on loneliness as part of everyday life, particularly within enclosed and densely populated environments. Through this tension between proximity and separation, it gives visual form to the quiet alienation and inner distance that can persist even in the presence of others.
