ABOUT THE WORK
This work is part of the Weeds series, in which plants become a metaphor for growth, resistance and the experience of being overlooked. Leaves, blossoms and stems remain recognizable, while gradually dissolving into areas of colour and lines. Observation and imagination merge, creating a tension between strength and vulnerability. The series brings attention to what is often considered unwanted or insignificant and focuses instead on its persistence, resilience and capacity to grow.
